How do I apply?
To apply for social housing in Prescott and Russell, please contact

You can download and print a copy of the
Social Housing Application Form or you can obtain a copy at the Housing
Services Division office in L’Orignal at 59 Court Street, 2nd Floor, or
the office of any participating housing provider. Read the instructions carefully
before complete the application. Make sure that the Release, Consent and Declaration on the application has been signed by all members of
your household who are 16 years or older.
All household members must submit proof of Canadian residency and proof of their current income.
Submit your application and all
applicable supporting documents to the Prescott and Russell Housing
Services Division by mail, by fax (1-877-844-9795), or in person.
The Housing
Services Division determines eligibility for rent-geared-to-income
(RGI) housing based on a duly completed and signed application. Your
application will not be considered for eligibility if the application
form is incomplete or if documents are missing. Upon approval of your
application, your name will be added to the centralized waiting list in
chronological order.
It is your responsibility to inform us immediately of any change to your file. Failure to do so could impact your eligibility.
Personal information contained in this form or in attachments is collected pursuant to the Housing Services Act, 2011 and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (R.S.O. 1990 c. F.31) or the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (R.S.O. 1990 c. M.56). This
information may be used to determine eligibility for housing applied
to, continuation of housing, and may be used for the appropriate
rent-geared-to-income charge.
