On December 8, 2023, Mr. Cory Nixon, president of the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society remitted a check for $ 3,300 to Mrs. Denise Robitaille, president of the Prescott and Russell Residence Foundation in presence of members of the Cass family who are residents. Mr. Cecil Cass was a previous president of the said society.
The donation will allow the purchase of a Maxi Sky motor for a room at the new Prescott and Russell Residence which will open its doors in 2024.
This donation meets the goal of the new Foundation’s fundraising campaign which is to purchase 204 Maxi Sky motor units for the new Residence in order to greatly enhance the wellbeing, safety and mobility of the residents.
