The Prescott-Russell Employment Services Centre supports job seekers and workers in their search for employment by offering various programs and services, adapted to our clients’ individual needs and circumstances, which will lead to successful outcomes.
The Eastern Ontario Training Board creates partnerships to address the
socio-economic and workforce development needs of Cornwall and the
counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Prescott and Russell, and
Akwesasne.
Skills Ontario's mission is "to promote and stimulate the development of

Hands-on, Free, Agricultural Training Program
Do you have a passion for agriculture?
Eligibility criteria
- Ontario residents (with proof of residency)
- Unemployed or part-time employment of less than 20 hours per week
- Demonstrate interest in the agricultural field
You will learn
- Milking technics
- Driving and use of farm machinery (seasonal)
- Field work (seasonal)
- Horticultural production in the field or in greenhouses (seasonal)
- Job search and leadership workshops
Develop your skills with hands-on training on
Prescott and Russell farms
- Offered in English and French
- Group of 6 participants
- 5 week duration
- Start date: Spring 2022
